Wang Yue, an upcoming fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical testing phase after securing its publishing license in China. This initial test run will allow developers to identify and fix bugs, refine gameplay, and gather valuable player feedback.
A World Divided
The Wang Yue test will immerse players in a world ravaged by a catastrophic solar event. The planet is fractured, leaving two distinct continents adrift in a bizarre gravitational anomaly. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, hangs suspended in the sky above a desolate, ruined landscape. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character thrust into this chaotic world after a betrayal. Qing Wu must unravel the secrets surrounding the sun's newfound reverence, the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures intent on their demise.
Player Agency and Dynamic World
Wang Yue reimagines the open-world genre, discarding repetitive quests and mindless combat. Exploration and player choice are paramount. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below – the world responds to your actions. NPCs are reactive, rewarding helpfulness or reporting disruptive behavior.
