World of Warcraft Unveils New 2025 Six-Month Subscription Rewards
World of Warcraft players subscribing for at least six months will receive the Timbered Sky Snake mount (for retail WoW) and the Timbered Air Snakelet pet (for Classic WoW). These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be granted by January 31st, 2025, and must be redeemed before January 31st, 2026.
This continues a tradition of bonus in-game items for longer subscriptions, started in 2018. Previous rewards have often reflected the yearly lunar Zodiac signs.
The Timbered Sky Snake and Timbered Air Snakelet are available individually for purchase in the in-game store ($25 and $10 respectively). A separate pet, the Timbered Sky Snakelet, is available for retail WoW via the Battle.net shop for $10 but isn't included in the subscription offer.
January 2025 Six-Month Subscription Rewards:
- Timbered Sky Snake mount (World of Warcraft: Dragonflight)
- Timbered Air Snakelet pet (Cataclysm Classic)
Existing subscribers on eligible plans will also receive these rewards.
12-Month Subscription Bonus:
Twelve-month subscribers receive the above rewards plus the following:
- Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts (retail WoW)
- Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet (Classic WoW)
This offer also includes July's six-month rewards, making it attractive for mount collectors.
With significant updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including new patches, player housing (potentially), and Classic server progression, purchasing a longer subscription now presents a compelling opportunity.
