Flat2VR Studios has announced a virtual reality adaptation of Postal 2, the infamous trash-talking shooter that first exploded onto the scene 22 years ago. A debut trailer showcases the game's signature brand of dark humor and chaotic gameplay, following the Dude as he embarks on a quest for signatures to support the Postal 2 VR development.
The trailer highlights key improvements in the VR remake, including a redesigned shooting mechanic optimized for VR controllers, a revamped user interface, and a refreshed mini-map system.
A dedicated Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, offering screenshots, system requirements, and further details. PC players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers are unfortunately absent, subtitles will be provided.
Despite the modernization, the core Postal 2 experience remains intact. Players will still tackle mundane errands like grocery shopping and library book returns, but the freedom to descend into utter chaos remains a core gameplay element.
Postal 2 VR will launch on SteamVR, PS VR2, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3.
