Free Fire joins the winter festivities with its new Winterlands 2024 update, introducing a fresh character, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.
Meet Koda, the arctic newcomer. Equipped with a mystical fox mask, Koda possesses the unique Aurora Vision ability. This allows him to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding crouching or prone players) and highlights enemy locations during parachuting.
Prepare for Frosty Tracks! These icy rails let you swiftly traverse the map while maintaining the ability to shoot, turn, and use throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks will appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
Aurora Events Enhance the Gameplay
The update also features Aurora Events in both game modes. Battle Royale boasts aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad introduces aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these special items grants a team-wide buff.
