Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a new tower defense game for Android, drawing inspiration from the classic geoDefense. The developer, a fan of the original, sought to recreate its simple yet challenging gameplay.
The Story: Earth Under Siege
The premise is straightforward: Earth ("The Sphere") faces an alien invasion, forcing humanity underground. After years of preparation, humanity launches a counterattack, and you lead the charge to save the planet.
Gameplay: Classic Tower Defense
Sphere Defense delivers the core tower defense experience: deploy units with unique strengths, defend against waves of enemies, and upgrade your arsenal with earned resources. Increased difficulty levels demand strategic thinking.
Difficulty and Length:
Three difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) are available, each with 10 stages lasting 5-15 minutes.

Diverse Turrets for Strategic Defense
Seven distinct unit types offer strategic depth. Choose from:
- Standard Attack Turret: Single-target damage.
- Area Attack Turret: AoE damage against groups of enemies.
- Piercing Attack Turret: Effective against enemy formations.
- Cooling Turret & Incendiary Turret: Support units that enhance attack units.
- Fixed-Point Attack Unit & Linear Attack Unit: Specialized attack units for precise or area-of-effect damage.
