Shadow Milk Cookie, a formidable force, harnesses otherworldly energy. His "Puppet Show" skill targets low-HP enemies, inflicting continuous damage culminating in a devastating Grand Finale that affects all enemies and applies a damaging Taint effect. Even after defeat, he transforms, continuing his puppet attacks.
Candy Apple Cookie wields a giant lollipop, crushing enemies and simultaneously reducing their attack and defense. Shattering the lollipop creates HP shields for allies and boosts their attack. The lollipop shards further amplify damage dealt to enemies, making Candy Apple Cookie a powerful addition to any team.
The Spire of Shadows storyline introduces Confusion and Distortion mechanics (first seen in Stage 7-4). Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while simultaneously buffing Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, active on specific stages, reduces damage taken by these two Cookies, adding a strategic layer to combat.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering memories and secrets that will impact the Cookie World. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, enabling the collection of Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls at the Trade Harbor.

The update also includes the Monster Menace event, offering extra rewards like Soulstones and Beascuits for clearing stages. The Monster Menace Marathon provides additional rewards even after the event concludes, based on the number of stages completed.
